Welcome to our beautiful community!

over the years, i have been mentioning this idea from college peers to coworkers to even strangers on the street. all of the people who loved my idea wanted to stay in touch (via linkedin and more), and I am extremely blessed to say, it was all of them. i believe the part that reassured me the most was people getting excited to tell me what they would love to see in an artistic social club; giving recommendations on events/classes/workshops/etc. seeing them engage with the idea, rather it just going in one ear and out the other was proof to me that i was doing something right.

as time went by, i refined, restarted, restarted, and refined it, to make it all inclusive for any and every one, no matter the background, culture or socioeconomic status. truthfully, that part took me awhile but i believe I am now in a position where everything aligns and makes sense. (But! i also have some tricks up my sleeve that will make this establishment multi-dimensional. That, i cannot wait to give to the world)

i believe it is fair to say many people feel disconnected in the current world today, and it sometimes seems difficult to establish meaningful connections. however, i am dedicated, and creative enough to propose an innovative concept that aims to inspire positive change and foster genuine collaboration for future generations. this vision not only seeks to bring people together but also hopes to cultivate a sense of belonging and support within our beautiful community.

j’bâtiment. is The space to assist with forming relationships that can become apart of your regular life. i am determined to create a space where individuals can come together to foster meaningful connections, whether that is business, personal, or even, romantic. this initiative is borne out of the belief that by providing a designated venue for interaction and collaboration, we can pave the way for more interconnectedness for the future.

also, my artistic social club is designed (through sophisticated, elegant, and tranquilizing architecture and interior design by yours truly) to inspire idea formations for both creatives and non-creatives alike. members do not have to be fans of art or consider themselves creative to benefit from the space.

one’s environment is important when it comes to being able to express yourself freely and think cognitively through situations. my goal is to create a safe, friendly, fun, and stimulating environment where people from all walks of life can come together under one roof, and do just that.

i believe that by fostering a welcoming & calming atmosphere, together, we can encourage collaboration, spark new interests and/or hobbies, and cultivate a sense of community among our members.

i intend to give something to the world that promotes interconnectedness, but in Style! being in the post-pandemic, this is a perfect time to introduce this to bring people back together and get off the internet, in which many rely on to make connections with their neighbors/community. everyone i've talked to about this idea loved it and how much they wished something like that existed; that validation over these years building this out is what kept me going. 

(now, a little about how i got here…)

i was proud to be able to play college basketball. All my life before venturing into this, i wanted to be a professional basketball player. i had it very rough growing up and never got the opportunities like my peers. i knew i was talented and my work ethic always kept me around to compete against the best in my area, so i knew there was always a chance. through it all, i persevered with the limited opportunities that i had and still was able to say I made it to play college basketball. something that for someone in my position, it was almost unheard of. most would’ve quit, hell, I thought about quitting at least once a day for a long time lol. only 3% of high school players make it to play college basketball, so that shows how dedicated and consistent you must be in order to achieve that goal.

although, i went through a traumatic, unfortunate experience in college that led to the ending of my organized playing career. but, knowing that i said i was going to achieve that goal in my journey from a young age and accomplishing it, no matter the outcome, was everything to me. that life lesson taught me that never quitting is the only way you will progress in life. due to those lessons, it has accelerated my creative side (which was suppressed due to my basketball dreams). i now use that same tenacity i channeled with hooping to create and innovate.

That led me to come up with a concept to give back to my community in a profound, influential way. hopefully, the model i create will pave a way for more of these social clubs to be created to give people Hope in humanity amidst everything (negatively) transpiring around the world. We need a release as a collective, but you have to start small to cause major change and I believe in my heart & soul that j'bâtiment. Will do that.
